How It's Made

From premium beef to finished bag, every step is crafted with care

Step 1

Marinating

We start with USDA-certified beef sourced from a farm in Texas, chosen for the quality and consistency we expect in every batch. From there, the beef is marinated for 24 hours before it ever hits the smoker, giving the flavor time to fully soak in and build the bold, savory taste that sets Bauer's Premium Jerky apart.
Step 2

Smoking & Drying

Smoke is key to the process. After marinating, the beef is placed on racks in industrial smokers and smoked to temperature with care and consistency. This step helps lock in flavor, create the right texture, and give our jerky the bold, smoky character it is known for.
Step 3

Packaging

After the jerky is finished, each flavor is hand-packed into a 3 oz bag with care and consistency. A silica packet is added to help preserve freshness, and our signature toothpick is included as a finishing touch. It is the final step in making sure every bag is ready to deliver the Bauer's Premium Jerky experience.
Step 4

From Us to You

The final and most important part of the process is sharing it with you. Every step, from sourcing and marinating to smoking and packaging, is done with care so we can deliver something we are genuinely proud of. At Bauer's Premium Jerky, bringing our craft to our customers is what it is all about.
